Phase one of this project was installed this fall. dbLandscaping has installed an entryway paved in granite cobblestone inlaid with ledgestone. Large, flat-topped boulders were placed for seating. Grading at this site was extensive- a deck that originally reached the ground by staircase is now almost at-grade. Machine-laid retaining walls helped to create more useable landscape space on what was previously a steep slope.  Gardens were planted throughout the landscape. Plants in front of the house, under the eaves, were specially chosen for their ability to handle heavy snow loads.

Perennial plantings this spring will add more color and texture to the landscape.
