Comprehensive Shoreland Protection Act

The Comprehensive Shoreland Protection Act (CSPA), enacted in July 2008, is a new guideline for construction within 250′ of most bodies of water in the state of New Hampshire.  The purpose of the CSPA is to protect the water quality of NH’s beautiful lakes, ponds, streams, and rivers.  db Landscaping supports the CSPA and abides by its rules.  While it may seem confusing to some, we have become pros at designing and permitting projects that comply with the CSPA and promote the spirit the act embodies.  (for more information please visit the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services website)  While the CSPA is leading the way towards cleaner water and a healthier environment, local regulations may be even more stringent than state restrictions, so it is always beneficial to enlist the help of experienced professionals.
